 Sasha Ongtengco

Sasha graduated from Depaul University with a business degree in Economics.  Post-graduation, she devoted time to cross-cultural immersion and service in Europe and South America, followed by almost 4 years in hospitality sales. Starting off her non-profit career as a member of The Cara Program’s Recruitment and Admissions Team in 2011, Sasha now continues her journey in the administration of TCP Staffing, providing excellent customer service to our workers and employers.  Sasha works diligently on making the best possible employment connections through strategic staffing development and strives to improve both daily operations and long-term goals for the company.

Joe Mutuc – Managing Director of TCP Staffing

Joe Mutuc

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Joe began his non-profit career in 2006 as a Corporate Account Manager at The Cara Program, responsible for securing and building relationships with major employment partners such as ABM, JPMorgan Chase and Presence Health after 6 years of for-profit experience running educational centers and in sales. Joe served in various capacities before eventually being promoted into his current role as VP of Programs & Strategy / Managing Director of TCP Staffing, responsible for student recruitment, the development and implementation of enterprise wide curriculum, growth of strategic employment partnerships, achievement of overall programmatic goals and TCP Staffing. Under his leadership, The Cara Program has reached the 300 placement plateau for the first time in the program’s 20+ year history. ​

Maria Kim – President and CEO

After 13 years in the insurance industry (with her last position leading the technology division for a $400m insurance firm), Maria joined The Cara Program in 2005. As Chief Operating Officer, Maria is charged with oversight of The Cara Program’s service delivery model across the enterprise – including recruitment, training, placement, retention, and advancement services – as well as the visioning of how to bring those services to greater scale. Maria was a fellow for Leadership Greater Chicago’s Class of 2008 and completed the Executive MBA Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2012.
